White Chocolate Crush of the Week - Mila Kunis

I know what you're thinking. Jackie from "That 70's Show"? Really?

Watch "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and then come talk to me. Seriously do it...DO IT!

Raptors Game Day - The Trade Deadline just became much more interesting

The Raptors are in Cleveland tonight to face Lebron and the Cavs. The Cavs are 22-0 at home this season and I don't expect their first home loss will come at the hands of the Raptors.

I expect a big game from Bargnani as he will be matched up against guys that can't guard him on the perimeter. I also expect Jose to be exposed most of the night by Mo Williams. Expect to see a lot of Joey Graham tonight as he is likely the only wing on this team that has the strength (in theory at least) to deal with Lebron.

That said expect a Raptors loss and likely another blowout.

As for the rest of the league? Well I don't think it bodes well for the Raptors that Kobe went off for 61 last night in New York. The Raptors have to deal with Kobe and the Lakers tomorrow on a back to back. I just hope they can keep him under 70.

Speaking of the Lakers, they have now lost Andrew Bynum for 8-12 weeks with a bad knee (again). Rumors are out there that they are going to be shopping for a big man. From what I can see of who is available, Brad Miller seems to fit the bill and if I were Kupchek in LA I would get him into town immediately.

Also the Magics Jameer Nelson separated his shoulder in last nights game and will likely miss quite some time. Anthony Johnson is NOT a good back up PG so I expect a team that likely wasn't going to make noise at the trade deadline to now be furiously shopping for a legit backup.

Chris Paul pulled his groin last night and looks to be out for at least a couple weeks. I wonder if this will force the Hornets to get into the mix to find a backup PG.

A few weeks in this league is an eternity. Teams that were in the mix to challenge for tops in their divisions could find themselves on the outside looking in before they get their key starters back. Therefore I expect rumors to start heating up sooner than they may have.

At least it will be fun to watch

Best of the Superbowl Commercials 2009

The Superbowl is known for a lot of things...and great commercials is certainly one of them. Living in Canada though we do not get the best ones. I did a search today to find the ones I thought were the best. Here is what I found Enjoy.

Raptors Recap - The "Is Bosh Bolting" Edition

The Raptors lost 2 over the weekend in quite disgusting fashion. A decided lack of effort in yesterday's loss makes me wonder if this team has any fight left in them.

They have most certainly lost any confidence they had built up over last weeks 3 game win streak. With games against the Cavs, Lakers and Hornets this week they are almost sure to lose 5 in a row.

Reports have surfaced today that Bosh has already told Colangelo that he isn't resigning in Toronto in 2010. The reports are from probably the most unreliable source there is, ESPN's Stephen A Smith. However, I wouldn't put it past Bosh to not want to resign. And if they are true, at least he is giving the Raptors a chance to deal him while he still has tremendous value.

I'm not big on the idea of trading Bosh. I still think that they can build around him in the off season and this team can do some damage. But if he wants out then he wants out and there is nothing they can do to keep him here.

Giving BC the news now however is a much better move than waiting until late next season. BC can get max value back and I'm not sure this team would be worse off. Trading Bosh isn't going to bring an All-star back but it can bring youth and it can bring talent and that is something they can build around.

It does NOT bode well however for Toronto's Free agent hopes if he asks out. That would mean that EVERY superstar that has ever played here has asked out. Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, Chris Bosh and to a lesser extent Antonio Davis.

The trade Deadline is Feb 19th. Lets stay tuned to see what transpires. It will certainly be more entertaining than watching these guys play basketball.

Superbowl - Who will win? Lets look to the WAG's

Superbowl 43 is this Sunday. Its an "epic" battle between the Steelers and Cardinals. One which I can't even begin to predict an outcome. So instead of trying to use facts to choose a winner I figured we'd look to the Wives and Girlfriends of the starting Quarterbacks to make our choice. Below you will see Rumoured girlfriend of Ben
Ben Roethlisberger Missy Peregrym and also Kurt Warner and his wife Brenda (even her name is ugly).

Anyway as you can see White Chocolate Blog is predicting a HUGE WIN for the Steelers.

Raptors Recap - The "Skin of their Teeth" Edition

The game last night in New Jersey was as close to a must win game as you can get before the all-star break. If this team has any sort of shot at a playoff spot they had to get that game last night. Back healthy and with the backup PG spot sorted out this team is poised to go on a run.

However the Nets had other plans. Toronto weathered the storm and somehow got the win last night. They withstood 16 first quarter points from Vince Carter, who hit 4 three's in the quarter. They withstood another huge late game run by the nets and narrowly escaped defeat when Devin Harris missed a WIDE open jumper after breaking Joey Graham's ankles. A couple things struck me as odd on the play however. Harris had 20 seconds and the ball and waited until about 7-8 seconds were left to make his move. Also Laurence Frank didn't call a timeout to run a play. Sure they got a good shot but I honestly think the Raptors stole one last night.

How'd they do it? Anthony Parkery and Jose Calderon that's how. I don't know whats gotten into Ap but since being slotted in to backup Jose he has been on fire. I think that ANY notion the Raptors may have had to trade him and his expiring contract before the Feb 19th deadline have to be forgotten. This team needs him.
Calderon was awesome again running the point posting another double double.

Bargnani had an off night and I think we can contribute that to him trimming that beard of his.

JO has been ok off the bench. He needs to find his legs though. I can't see the Heat making a deal for him or anyone until much closer to the deadline. The Heat are going pretty good right now and I think they want to see where they are playoff wise before making a deal.

The Raptors have another must win tomorrow at home against the BUcks and hopefully can parley that into maybe a 2-2 record once they face the magic, cavs, lakers and hornets starting Sunday.
